The Yeshiva’s pleasant serene setting, removed from the distractions of the big city, provide the ideal conditions for growth while acquiring a clear approach to learning. The energy that pervades the walls of Sh’or Yoshuv is nothing less than awe-inspiring.

This yeshiva was spearheaded by Rabbi Shlomo Freifeld, zt’’l. He conceived an idea to create a place of Torah study which would bring together under one common roof Jews from all walks of life, regardless of background. His goal was to make every Jew aware of his innate potential, and to have that potential actualized.

Sh’or Yoshuv imbues its students with the joy and warmth of Torah learning and living. Our graduates go on to take their places in communities throughout the world as Torah-committed educators, professionals, businessmen and lay leaders.
