The Essentials Open program offers a unique opportunity to: examine the relevance of being Jewish in today’s world, define major tenets in Jewish thought from a rational perspective, and explore major themes and practices in Jewish spirituality.

While living in apartments and dorms in the heart of the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem’s Old City, students attend classes held in Aish HaTorah’s World Center, directly opposite the Western Wall. Regular tours around Jerusalem and throughout Israel are also included in this classic Aish HaTorah program.
