Rabbi Yaakov Moskowitz grew up in Syracuse NY. After completing high school , he decided to study for a full year in Israel. His experience was truly inspiring and led him to pursue his career in Rabbinics. He spent a number of years at the Rabbinical Seminary of America where he studied Jewish Law and philosophy, and received his Rabbinic ordination this past December. Additionally, Rabbi Moskowitz holds a BA in psychology from Touro College.He has served as Rabbinic intern at the Jewish Heritage Center of Queens and Long Island for 3 years, and has been a popular lecturer for Jewish college students in Brooklyn Ny. He currently lives in Queens and is married to Esther (Portnoy) who is a Special Education teacher for the Board of Education and also happens to be an amazing cook. They have two cute children Pessy and Chaim, and are looking forward to getting to know you all.
